Manito Shrine club runs a Mother's Day breakfast each year to raise Funds to support our Shrine hospital kids

Canadian Armed Forces Parachute Team, the SkyHawks!
Join us on Beach area one as the SkyHawks parachute team performs on Beach Area One.
The SkyHawks are the premier parachute demonstration team of the Canadian Armed Forces. Established in 1971, the team already has more than 5,000 successful jumps that have dazzled more than 75 million spectators throughout the world.
Assembling the team is a complex and difficult endeavour. Team members are selected early in the year and undergo extensive training prior to the start of the season to ensure the highest level of professionalism and proficiency allowing them to perform complex parachute manoeuvres safely.

Come out and meet the members of the WASAGA BEACH CLIMATE ACTION team. We want to meet you. Come and hear about projects that inspire the community, Town staff and Council to mitigate and adapt to Climate Change, protect and improve the environment, and encourage sustainable living.

Join us as we walk in memory of those we have loved and lost to suicide, to raise awareness of suicide in our community, and to support those who are grieving. This walk provides an opportunity to support one another through our shared loss by suicide.
This is our annual fundraiser… donation can be made online at CanadaHelps.org found on our website or bring your donations to the walk. Pledge forms can be found on our website www.hopeequalslife.ca or Facebook Simcoe County Suicide Awareness Council.
There will be a silent auction (cash only) opening at 5:30 p.m. Closer to walk date auction item will be on our Facebook page and on the KoolFm Community Events Page. Must be present to be bidding winner.
All funds raised will go directly to support and promote awareness through initiatives, programs and community events.
